Welcome to the New School website!
Our mission is to help students who have not yet succeeded in other high schools to accept responsibility for their failures, believe in themselves, and learn to set and achieve goals. We believe that all people can change, and that in a tightly structured, caring, clean and sober, student-centered environment, most youth will choose behaviors that help them achieve their goals. Once students experience
success, they may return to more traditional programs or graduate from New School with better self-knowledge, improved academic skills, and an eagerness to be lifelong learners.
Our ultimate goal is to produce responsible, caring, self-directed lifelong learners who will quickly adapt to rapidly changing economic conditions.
