Because of numerous bad experiences walking in town, we must follow these procedures when traveling outside the school:

1. Stick together--between two staff people or Student Leaders. No more than 75 feet from the first person to the last.
2. Follow the designated route.
3. No whistling or yelling.
4. No food, drinks, cells or headphones.
5. Stay to the right on sidewalks and be conscious of not pushing others off the sidewalk. Be courteous of others!
6. Observe all other school procedures and especially the Traditions.
7. Please stay out of the street when walking and DO NOT jaywalk. The green man says "walk." Cross as a group. The first to cross should wait at the far side until all are across.
8. When we are together, you represent New School, and whatever you do reflects on all of us. Please do not do the "I'm BAAAD" stroll or look mean at anyone. The adult you scare today may be the same one you hope will hire you tomorrow. You know how to act respectably!
